Republic of Malawi
Malawi is a landlocked country located in southeastern Africa. It is bordered by Tanzania to the north, Mozambique to the east, south, and west, and Zambia to the west. Malawi is characterized by its diverse landscapes, including the Great Rift Valley, which runs through the country from north to south. Lake Malawi, one of the largest and deepest lakes in Africa, dominates the eastern side of the country and is a key geographic feature.
Malawi’s economy is predominantly agricultural, with agriculture accounting for about a third of the GDP and employing a significant portion of the population. The main crops include tobacco, tea, sugarcane, maize, and coffee.
